Continuing the G-SHOCK legacy of toughness and functionally beautiful design, the GST-B1000D reimagines that heritage with a construction that is both minimalist and elegant.

Cleaner and more contemporary, the bezel is free of any logo, and the use of three distinct finishes – a vertical hairline, a circular hairline and a mirror polish – creates a sophisticated, textured look that shifts with the light and the angle of the wrist. The stainless steel bracelet features mirror and hairline finishing, together with a three-fold clasp, also in stainless steel. Thanks to this slim, understated design, the watch is easy to wear at work, during sport or for more casual pursuits.

Details borrowed from the DW-5000C, the very first G-SHOCK, have been retained, such as the shape of the bezel and the emblematic brick-wall pattern. The GST-B1000D-1AJF also features colours inspired by the original G-SHOCK: red to symbolise the passion for taking on challenges, blue to represent water resistance and yellow to reflect exceptional shock resistance.

This watch was designed to be tough. A metal bezel protects against impact, while the carbon-reinforced resin case shields the module. Urethane pads at the junction between the metal bracelet and the case absorb shocks and reduce stress on the joints, improving durability while ensuring a more secure connection. Adhesive bonding of the glass and the compact module design make for a thinner, lighter watch without compromising shock resistance. These features guarantee comfort, robustness and ease of use day after day.
