This analogue-digital combination model from the rugged G-SHOCK watch range, ever in pursuit of greater strength, echoes the lines of the first-generation DW-5000C models, yet is far slimmer. It inherits the octagonal shape also used by the first-generation DW-5000C. This combination model features a simple design that strips away the superfluous while retaining a robust structure. Thanks to its case made of slim resin blended with highly rigid carbon fibre, it measures just 11.8 mm thick.
