This digital-analogue combination model from the G-SHOCK range of tough watches, forever in pursuit of greater strength, takes its lines from the first-generation DW-5000C, yet is far slimmer. It inherits the octagonal shape also used by the first-generation DW-5000C. This combination model has a pared-back design that does away with superfluous detail while retaining a rugged structure. Thanks to its case made from a blend of fine resin and highly rigid carbon fibre, it measures just 11.8 mm thick. Its black colour is emblematic of G-SHOCK watches.
